Now, I have a different idea of what a hero is. I don’t look at superficial qualities, but at real life traits. The person I look up to most is my best friend Bonnie. She is a very strong-willed person. She has helped me through a lot of rough times in my life. She is always there when I have a problem I need to talk about or when I need advice. I always have a shoulder to cry on, as long as she’s there. Another person I admire is a teacher right here at our school. Kathryn Johnston (Davis). She is the best teacher I have ever had. She really cares about what happens to use, as students, as well as just people. She can be as strict as she needs to be and as lenient as she can. She is also a friend. Ms. Johnston is a very caring, deep-hearted person. She listened to me when I needed someone to talk to. She gets respect because she doesn’t try to belittle us and treat us like we should still be in kindergarten.
