Weekend Update – February 24, 1992

Friday was such a long day. I got up at 5:00am to get ready for the rally and everything. We got to school at about 6:30. I’m usually not even up at 6:30. We got to Southeastern at about 7:30 and sat around until 9:00 when the opening session went on. It was so boring. Probably the worst part of the whole day was having to walk up and down those steep steps in the arena. We were at the top of the first level of seats, but that was half the height of the place. I went in to take the test, and I was so nervous. I went in and it was a 100-question test and we only had an hour to take it. So, I thought I did pretty good, because it was easy, but I guess I messed up somewhere. I was waiting during the awards ceremony to see how I did, but I didn’t place, so I don’t know. It was such a long day.  Saturday, Bon-E and I went to Emily’s for her to work on her term paper. I rented 9 1/2 Weeks and "The Breakfast Club". I watched part of 9 1/2 Weeks, and we got tired so we went home. Sunday, me and B.J. went to church with her mom. It was interesting. I hadn’t been to church in a very long time. We went to her mom’s after church and helped her cook taco salad, but I got sick, so I didn’t get to eat any of it. I went to Subway and helped her close at work last night. It’s sorta fun, but that’s only because there were two of us and there were no customers to come in. I’m thinking about applying for a job at one of the other Subways in Baton Rouge.
