Classes – April 10, 1992
The classes I have liked have usually been my English classes and Free Enterprise and Government. I usually hate most of my math classes and sciences. I hated Biology a very, very lot! Of course, second semester we had Coach Richardson, so that made it a little better. I am not good with all those three-mile long scientific words and cell walls and protoplasm! I HATE SCIENCE! I didn’t take Physics this year because I refused to take another Science class. So, instead, I have 2 English classes. I liked Government and Free Enterprise because I love learning about politics and our government and the history of our country. More or less, I like learning about the people that made things happen, not the actual things that happened. I didn’t like World History, but I liked U.S. History.
I think the biggest problem facing education is a tie between 2 things. One is that teachers just don’t get paid enough. And the other is that too much concentration is put in sports. I mean, it is important to have extra-curricular activities, but I think more should be concerned about academic growth instead of how many touchdowns you could get.
