Weekend update – April 13, 1992

Friday, Bon-E didn’t go to work because she was sick with her stomach again. We just sat around and watched T.V. We were really tired, so we went to bed. We had to get up early to go for our ACT test. We got up at 7:00 Saturday, threw some clothes on and stuffed some food down our throats and left. We had about 20 minutes to get to school and we had to stop to get gas. We got there about 5 to 10 minutes early. The test seemed like forever and it was really hard. Compared to this one, the other one was easy. We left at about ten minutes until 12. We went home, cleaned and helped fold, stuff and stick envelopes. We did about 500 of them in 2 1/2 hours. I talked to my mom for about 5 minutes, and she didn’t have anything much to say, except that I got a letter fromLSU saying that I had been admitted and all that. It’s really no big deal, but I guess it’s good. Saturday, we also went to Dawn’s house and we rented Thelma and Louise and K-9 Cop. We watched K-9 Cop and I held Bo who is a ball python. He is awesome! (Note in the margin from the teacher: Yuck!)  I always thought that snakes would be slimy and stuff but he was really smooth. It was really weird. I want to get one when I move out. We watched part of Thelma and Louise but Bon-E didn’t like it, so we got dressed and went out. We went to Jody’s, but he wasn’t home, so we walked around the State Capitol. There was something going on there, but we didn’t know what. Then, we went to Don Carter’s to walk around, but we didn’t stay long, because it was boring. Sunday, me and Emily went to Wal-Mart and I found an awesome bathing suit that I want to get soooo bad! We helped Mr. John stuff and stick 500 more of his lottery envelopes. I sat around and addressed someof my invitations. Bon-E worked from 3:00 until 10:30. I want to know what I have on my Hamlet test so bad.
