What a helluva day this turned out to be!  We went skiing at Whistler Mountain and it was OK at first.  We took the gondola up to the Olympic station and took the Olympic chair up and came down the Olympic run a few times.  We were getting tired so we took the gondola up to the chalet to get something to eat and on the way up talked to a couple of people who said the green runs from the top were OK.

So, after we got something to eat, we decided to come down from the top.  Right from the start, we knew it was a mistake.  I was really scared and the hills were pretty steep.  It was my first time on new skis and the first time skiing for the season.  I kept falling and there was a couple of hills that were so steep that I sat down and scooted down on my butt because I was too scared to point my skis downhill for fear of not being able to stop!  I was really upset and I kept telling Tracey to leave me alone and I was cussing at her because I had told her that I wasn’t comfortable going up there at my skill level.  It took me two and a half hours to get down and I was so tired that I fell hard a couple of times and it knocked the wind out of me.

The last time I fell was on the bunny hill and I shouldn’t have even fallen there because it was pretty flat.  A guy that worked there saw me carrying my skis and took them for me so I could get on the gondola to go down.
