I just wanted to say that I have yet to be disappointed by the service I’ve gotten from the HP support folks. It’s not many companies that have 24/7 live chat support via their web sites. And, of the ones who may have it, I’d be even more surprised if the people manning the support chat lines were half as competent and – gasp! – actually helpful as the HP people have been for me the times that I’ve sought their assistance.
I now own several HP products (2 printers, a handheld and a laptop) and have found myself on their site poking around for information any time I’ve added a new gadget to my arsenal or when an existing device has me scratching my head (or wanting to throw it out the window…I digress…). Inevitably, I have questions that the manuals don’t answer and decide to pose my queries to the support folks at HP. There must be a good training program up there because I’ve yet to be able to stump one of their reps or find them telling me something I know to be the contrary – nothing more frustrating than trying to get help for something and turning out to already know more about the thing you’re inquiring about than the person fielding the question.
Anyway, I see way too many people writing complaints about stuff they don’t like, so I figured I’d go against the grain and send a shout out to my peeps at HP with some richly-deserved kudos!
Bottom line – if you’re looking to buy a computer, printer or handheld, I’d highly recommend HP products. In my experience, they’re reliable and the support staff makes it an even more comfortable choice.
And, no, I was not paid, asked, bribed or coerced by anyone at HP to say this stuff! I just genuinely like the products I’ve bought and the support that goes along with it and like to pass along good stuff to good folks!
