So, now that I got all that negative shit out of the way, let’s focus on the good for the day!  I woke up at noon which wasn’t great, but given that I went to bed at 6:30am after configuring and testing PHPList, it wasn’t bad considering.

I held myself to the task of tidying up and washing the dishes (and even putting them away after they were dry) and finally finishing up the laundry – three loads worth!  When I let the laundry pile up, it feels like I have a whole new wardrobe when I finally do it all.  At least my clothes last a while because I don’t wear the same stuff over and over again!  It’s a good feeling for me when my place is tidy.  Still have to change the cat box, vacuum and do a little dusting tomorrow (perhaps fish tank as well?), but overall, it doesn’t have that vibrating-with-chaos feeling that I hate when it’s messy around here, so all’s well.

I spent most of the evening parked in the La-Z-Boy chair watching various shows on TV and then catching up with things I’d recorded on the DVR.  It’s sorta cool to be able to just click a button to record something and have it to watch later when the current night’s lineup is less than inspiring.  I watched Don’t Forget the Lyrics (two episodes) and then some show I had inadvertantly recorded which was called Clash of the Choirs and then some country karaoke thing that CMT is doing in Canada.  I guess the singing thing is what got me to thinking about the “coulda woulda” stuff in my other entry.

I’m planning on picking up the mail tomorrow, dropping off the pop cans at the bottle depot and bringing Rennie’s Entertainment Book to them and then heading down to the Vancouver Art Gallery to finally see the O’Keeffe exhibit. It’s only there for another couple of weeks and I don’t want to miss it.  I’ve asked Tracey to go with me a number of times, but, she’s always working or we have other stuff to do and, honestly, I think I’ll enjoy it more if I go alone or, perhaps, with Laina who mentioned she’d like to go.  But, tardiness is always a factor with her, so I will likely just not commit to including her to avoid getting pissed off or not arriving until well after I’d like if she were to go with me.

My arm has been pretty sore – think being pummelled in your upper arm a few times – from the tetanus shot Wednesday, which is a little annoying.   

I keep thinking about the name “Little Birdy (or Birdie) Branding” for a company name.  If you think about it, it’s clever and relevant to branding – “a little birdy told me”.  And, since I’m so into birds, that would be a cool name.  Too “cute”, though?  Probably.  *sigh*  I may register the domain anyway. lol

I may read my book for a while or watch part of the Banger Sisters on DVD before heading off to sleepyland.  I can’t believe it’s 3am already, damnit!
