Friday, January 8, 2010 – 5:38am – New Orleans International Airport, Gate D2, New Orleans, LA

Today is going to be a long day. I hope I will be able to sleep on the planes! Went to sleep last night at 11:00pm and woke up just after 3:00am for Mrs. Lynnda to drive me to New Orleans to catch my flight to Salt Lake City. I was worried that my big suitcase would be too heavy, but luckily I just had to take a few tshirts out when I checked in and put them in my backpack for it to make the weight. Security check went fine and I’m sitting at the gate waiting for my flight. I’m so tired!

Went to see Sherlock Holmes and out to eat at Lonestar with Will and Rachel last night. Dunno why, but I found the movie to be a bit slow or something. Certain parts of it I liked, but overall, I was not impressed with the storyline they went with and felt like it was dragging in a lot of places. Could be that I was distracted by the impending long day of travel and worrying about packing, etc. Glad that I got to spend the last day in town with Will. 🙂

We stopped by the house for a few minutes for me to say bye to Emily. I cannot believe that I only saw her for a total of like 3 hours the whole time I’ve been down here. She’s had a rough couple of months with being sick over both Thanksgiving and Christmas and then Weaver dying, which is so sad. I hope she’ll be back to herself soon.

I only went in Mom’s house once the whole time I was here – the day I went over and raked the yard. Oh, so I guess that means I saw Emily for a little longer than I had remembered, since I was at the house that day for several hours. Maybe a total of 6 hours then? lol

Talked to Laina for a few minutes before I went to sleep. She hasn’t been feeling well since she got home. Travelling really takes a toll. Going to try to type out a couple of back entries while I’m waiting for the plane.
