Belated Thanksgiving

Ok, so I’m a day late in properly feasting in celebration of Thanksgiving, but at least I didn’t let the food sit in the fridgeand go bad from procrastinating on cooking.  I did a scaled-back version of a dinner which was just fine with me.  I stopped by IGA and picked up a pecan pie (another Southern traditional favourite) earlier when I took the really long way to the video store to return a movie – gotta get that exercise however you can and the weather has been crap here lately.

We’re actually supposed to get snow here tomorrow and Sunday.  It’ll be the first time since I’ve lived in Vancouver that we’ve had snow in November.  If it accumulates enough, I’m breakin’ out the toboggan and heading for the nearest hill!  Being a Southerner, snow is still somewhat novel to me, particuarly because I’ve had a chance to forget how much I hated the fact that the snow hung around for six months of the year when I lived in Montreal. UGH.  Moderation, please.

I have a habit of watching movies on TV that I have on DVD which I could easily get up and pop into the DVD player and watch sans commercials, but I always sit there and watch the TV version.  WTF is up with that?  Am I really THAT lazy? lol  Now that the requisite romantic comedy is finished, I am going to watch the remaining few episodes of Sex and the City, Season 6, Part 2 that I’ve been meaning to watch for a good while now.

Ta-ta!
