I honestly can’t believe I’m not in bed yet. I’m so tired. I woke up to Tracey coming home from work and telling me in overly-graphic detail about how she was sick at work last night and barely made it to the toilet to vomit. Nice. Puking is the worst thing imaginable in my book (well, not really, but it’s UP THERE!) and, coupled with someone waking me up after a few hours of sleep, such an account is sure to inspire stomach aches and multiple bathroom trips, particularly when my belly was rumbling the previous night anyway. I ended up sleeping on the couch for a while and then heading to bed before getting up at about 10:30am.
From there, I felt like I was being controlled by otherworldly forces intent on me accomplishing lots during the day. I did a bunch of household chores – trash/cat box, cleaned the fish tank, washed/dried/folded/put away three loads of laundry (which takes forEVER when you’re doing it in coin-op machines in the apartment building), cooked breakfast, washed the dishes, paid bills, trimmed Ferris’ nails. I also managed to take Jesse out to the park in the morning and then for a full walk around Central Park in the pouring rain around 4pm. I just HAD to get some exercise in, in spite of the fact that I was moving around nonstop all day.
Tracey was sick all day and it’s probably only the fourth time or so since I met her over five years ago that I’ve seen her not do anything but lay around all day. We watched the LSU/Ole Miss game (Geaux TIGERS!) and then Oklahoma vs Texas Tech and then she fell asleep on the couch and me on the chair for a while. She went to bed and I’ve been piddling around on the computer since then. Laina got me started taking these quizzes on Facebook and then I took a 50 Questions thing that Will had posted on MySpace. So, I’m pasting in here because I think some of the answers are interesting (or will be in the future at some point).

10. Whats your most favorite scar? I’m fortunate to not have many scars, but I guess the one on my cheek that I got from climbing a door facing when I was little
11. When was the last time you flew in a plane? January 2, 2007 coming back to Vancouver from Baton Rouge (worst flight EVER!)
