I am so mad about the “Loosianaman” thing that I want to write about that.  I’ve been living here since I was 6 years old, and stuff like that makes me so mad!  I really think it “sucks” (pardon my lingo) that people see us that way.  Of course, I know a lot of the reason people do think that is because of things our people do.  But, how can someone judge a whole state of people from an encounter with just a few of its people.  Mrs. Johnston said that if it bothered us, that meant we care.  I do care.  I don’t want people thinking that way about my home state or me for that matter.  Another thing like that, that really ticks me off is the nickname “Lousy-ana”.  P-lease.
