Weekend update – February 17, 1992

My weekend has to be one of the funniest/most boring of my life. Friday, B.J. spent the night with me and it rained and rained. We didn’t get to sleep until around 2:00. The thunder woke me up a couple of times, and when Bon-E got up at 7:00 to get ready for work, she went outside and all I heard was, "Oh, my God." So, I went to the door, but I couldn’t see, ’cause I didn’t have my contacts in. So, I went and put them in and I went back to the door and all I could see was water. It was knee-deep in the middle of the road and came about 1/4 way up my driveway.  We didn’t know what to do, because there was no way that she was going to be able to get her car through that, and her dad had gone fishing, so he couldn’t come get her. she called work and told Mrs. Becky and she said that it was okay, and sometimes things happen. Anyway, we had to spend the night at my house again Saturday. We just sat around and watched movies and acted crazy. Andy called and I talked to him for a while. Then, Sunday, me and Bon-E got up and made French toast for breakfast. It was good, too. Sunday night, mom and I went up to Subway and I ended up staying after she closed and I helped her clean up.
