Good teacher? – March 11, 1992

A good teacher is one who doesn’t dread every second she is in the classroom. She would be genuinely interested in her students. Also, I think that it is important that she really likes the subject she is teaching. It is very hard to teach other people about something you can’t stand. Teachers do a lot more than tell you about a certain subject> I believe that they have the power to make a lasting impression on some young mind. They never know if what they are going to say will go in one ear and out the other, or if it will stay with that person for the rest of their life.
