Freewrite – March 19, 1992

I would still fight against environmental pollution, even if it didn’t harm me. I think it’s because I don’t see why everybody except me should suffer. Actually, I think I’d be more active, because I’d be able to understand how they feel less, so I’d want to help more. It’s really hard to try to explain. Also, even if I didn’t have to ever worry about abortion, I would still fight for a woman’s right to make her own decision. I don’t see how one person can think they have the right to decide something that personal for every other person it would affect. I believe that, in the same situation, no one can really say that they know for sure what they would do. I really don’t think I could say what I would do, one way or another, unless I was in that situation myself, but I would defend each person’s right to a choice. My next journal is bright green!

(Written on the inside of the back cover)

Why did I write eye-lash on the cover of this thing?

(Note from the teacher: Yes, why?)

(My reply: I wish I knew!)

(Teacher’s response: You are wigging out)
